Our Doctors of Blues Therapy have assumed the roles of Physicians to the Family of Man, trying to cure their terribly atrophied patients of Soul Deficiency Fever. They have been making a concerted effort to employ the healing powers of Blues Therapy in their attack on a social disease of Musical Insensitivity, which has reached epidemic proportion.
Having thoroughly examined and tested their patients, their secret hope has been somehow to provide a remedy rather quickly, before we all sink in the soft, smooth, artificially-made pop music that corrupts our minds these days. Surrounded by this evil product of the Corporate America, we can only grit our teeth and aim to create something better. We turn back and look deep into the history, but at the same time we reach forward to the future, and blend it all together. We're all about the America's best music inventions: Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul.
Utilizing our music as Medicine for the Millions, our objectives and method of operation have been these:
1. To relax society's knotted muscles with the sonic massage of Soul.
2. To curtail their convulsions and chills with the warmth of Rhythm and Blues.
3. To unclog its groggy head with the invigorating vapors of saxophonic Jazz.
4. To loosen its stiff joints through the use of the irresistible body-shaking Funk.
5. To stimulate its sluggish pulse with the electric shock of Rock.
6. To mitigate its miserable pain with the mundane narcotics of Reggae.
7. To reduce its rampant fever with the coolness of the vibraphonic Bossa Nova.
8. To slow down the immense mind-boggling carousel with a soothing Ballad.
9. To surgically open their minds with Music they have never heard before.
